A student of John’s attempts to recreate a landscape by arranging random shapes cut from construction paper. The results give an impressionistic view of the original while providing a vivid demonstration of the interaction between proximate colors. Students with varying art experience, work with medium to confetti-sized colored segments, consistently creating pieces that are vibrant and visually interesting. The aesthetic and therapeutic benefits of this technique continue to be explored.
